Frank DeJoy
Frank DeJoy has been Vice President, General Manager of Engineering Associates Inc.’s Western Region since March 2010, where he oversees all regional wireline and wireless engineering activities for Quanta Services’ Telecommunications and CATV Unit and external carrier accounts.
Prior to joining Engineering Associates Inc., Frank was VP/GM for General Dynamic’s Wireless Business Unit, for three years, where he managed wireless operations for all commercial accounts (AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, MetroPCS, Crown Castle, American Tower) including deployment of thousands of sites, succeeding capacity upgrades, network integrations, and technology overlays to next generation technologies including EVDO, UMTS, LTE and WiMAX.
Prior to General Dynamics, Frank held positions in telecommunications industry for over 20 years in technical, operational, and leadership assignments. Previous roles include President/COO of a national IT infrastructure company, Celergy Networks, Inc., and various leadership positions at AT&T/Cingular, including Vice President Network Services, Executive Director National Service Delivery, and Director of Strategic/Tactical Planning. As VP Network Services at AT&T, Frank led the Mobile Multimedia Unit’s 3-year growth from a $50M annual run rate to over $1B, while maintaining best-in-class quality levels.
Prior to AT&T/Cingular, Frank held various technical leadership positions a including Director of Engineering/Operations at Teleport Communications Group (now part of AT&T), Engineering Manager for Bell Laboratories, and as a Technical Consultant for AT&T Network Services (now part of Alcatel-Lucent). Frank holds an MBA and a BS Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University, where he graduated with highest honors.
